Today marks a hugely significant and proud moment in the history of Stoke Mandeville Football Club, as the club officially picked up the keys to its very own home for the first time.
After years of hard work, planning, and determination, this milestone represents far more than just gaining access to a building or set of facilities. It symbolises progress, stability, and a long-term future for the club, providing a central base that will support players, coaches, volunteers, and the wider community for many years to come.
The new home will give Stoke Mandeville FC a place to grow and thrive, offering improved facilities and a welcoming environment for matchdays, training sessions, and club events. It will also strengthen the club’s ability to develop players in all aspects of life, from grassroots football through to senior teams, while continuing to promote teamwork, discipline, and enjoyment of the game.
This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support shown by so many people along the way. The club would like to thank its dedicated volunteers, committee members, coaches, players, sponsors, and supporters, whose commitment and belief have helped turn this ambition into a reality.
Appreciation is also extended to Kingsbrook Parish council who have supported the journey and shared in the vision of creating a permanent home for the club.
As Stoke Mandeville Football Club steps into this exciting new chapter, the focus now turns to building on this foundation both on and off the pitch. With a home to truly call our own, the club is well-placed to continue developing, strengthening its ties with the local community, and creating memorable moments for everyone involved.
Today’s key handover is not just the end of a journey, but the beginning of an even brighter future for Stoke Mandeville & Kingsbrook Football Club.
